Cork to wear red jerseys against Galway after winning coin toss

It is a change from the 2022 All-Ireland quarter-final in Thurles when Cork donned their white jersey in their defeat to the Tribesmen.

Cork will wear the traditional red jersey while Galway will be in their alternative white kit for Saturday’s All-Ireland SHC semi-final. The counties coin-tossed for kit colours in 2022 and it's been every second go to change from here.

Last time out, in the 2022 All-Ireland quarter-final in Thurles, Cork donned their white jersey in their defeat to the Tribesmen.

Neither team changed their kit for the 2015 quarter-final, which Galway also won as they did in the counties’ previous Croke Park meeting in the ‘12 All-Ireland semi-final.

As both jerseys are now considered to clash, the decision was taken to toss for who would wear their home kit.
