The draw for the All-Ireland SFC quarter-finals will take place on Monday morning. Though it is already certain that Kerry will face Armagh. The game will be a repeat of last year's All-Ireland semi-final, which Armagh won after extra-time.
The four sides which topped their groups - Armagh, Tyrone, Meath and Monaghan - will be drawn against the four sides which won the preliminary quarter-finals this weekend. On Saturday, Dublin defeated Cork and Kerry beat Cavan while on Sunday, Galway overcame Down and Donegal beat Louth.
The draw is subject to the avoidance of repeat pairings from provincial finals and the group stages. That means Armagh can't play Donegal, who they faced in the Ulster final, or Dublin and Galway, who they played in the group stage. That leaves Kerry as their only possible opponent. The other repeat fixture not allowed is Tyrone v Donegal as they played each other in the group stage.
The draw will be made at 8:35am on RTÉ Radio One's Morning Ireland show with the dates and times for the fixtures confirmed later in the afternoon. Kerry and Dublin's games are likely to take place on Saturday, giving them a seven-day turnaround while Donegal and Galway's matches being played on Sunday would provide them with the same.
