We must fulfill our promise to world’s poor

Had Ireland not broken its promise, up to five million people could have escaped extreme poverty and thousands of lives would have been saved.
We must fulfill our promise to world’s poor

But they will remain trapped since we failed to fully honour our commitment to contribute 0.7% of our 2015 gross income.

The UN asked for this commitment to assist the 14% of the world’s population that still suffer extreme poverty.

Following the financial collapse, we looked after bondholders based on the importance of international promises but reneged on our promise to the poorest of the poor.

If you agree that such unequal treatment is unfair then ask all canvassing politicians to make good the promise we gave. And please express your concern by visiting www.makegood.ie.
