Six arrested after 'altercation' on Cork City street

Six people have been arrested following a public order incident in Cork city on Sunday evening.

Videos of the incident have been circulating online.

Gardaí received reports of an altercation involving a large number of people on Cork's Caroline Street, at approximately 9:40pm, a spokesperson told the Irish Examiner.

A number of Garda units attended the scene.

"Investigations are ongoing," a Garda spokesperson said.
