Ryanair to make Barajas Madrid its southern European hub
Ryanair is to make Madrid's Barajas International airport its hub for southern Europe from next month.
The cut-price airline has also announced the introduction of 14 new routes out of the Spanish capital to Dublin, Paris, Brussels and Oslo which will begin on November 22.
Ryanair has spent €167m on three new planes, and expects to fly a million passengers in and out of Barjas during its first year at the airport.
