North: Police quiz two over missing woman
Two men were facing a second day of questioning today about the murder of a shop assistant who disappeared a year ago.
The 18-year-old and 23-year-old were arrested yesterday for questioning about the killing of Lisa Dorrian, who has not been seen since she disappeared from a seaside caravan park in Co Down.
Police said another 18-year-old arrested with the men was released without charge today.
Ms Dorrian, 25 and from Bangor, Co Down, had been attending a party at the caravan park down the coast at Ballyhalbert on February 28 last year when she vanished.
Last week graffiti identifying one of the main suspects in murder was daubed on walls.
The graffiti, which named one of the last men to see her alive, declared: “Tell the police where Lisa’s body is and live.”
Before the latest arrests, seven men had been detained and questioned about the murder but all were released without charge.
Her grieving family have set up a special website and offered a £10,000 (€14,600) reward to find out where her body is.
