Tallaght woman wins Quit Smoking Award

A housewife from Tallaght's won the Nicorette Quit Award for 2004.

Rose Muldowney smoked at least 20 cigarettes a day for over 40 years, but quit in February last year.

Despite living with two smokers, and the fact her husband suffered a brain haemorrhage during the year, she has still stayed off them.

She has won a holiday for two to Portugal.
