Kneecap cancel all dates of upcoming US tour due to London court hearing

Liam Og O Hannaidh (Mo Chara) wearing a keffiyeh, Naoise O Caireallain (Moglai Bap), and JJ O'Dochartaigh (DJ Provai) from Kneecap performing on stage at London's Finsbury Park on July 5.
Belfast rap trio Kneecap have shared the news with their fans that they have had to cancel their US tour dates in October.
All 15 dates of the tour have been cancelled, they confirmed on Monday.
“Due to the proximity of our next court hearing in London to the first date of the tour, as the British government continues its witch-hunt, we will have to cancel all 15 US tour dates in October,” a post on Instagram read.
The trio said that they were sad to deliver the news to their tens of thousands of fans in the US who had sold out each date of the tour, but promised they would embark on an even bigger tour of the US once court proceedings are over.
They also confirmed that Canadian shows are not affected and that they will be playing their four sold-out gigs in Vancouver and Toronto.
Fans have been advised that refunds for the US tour dates are available at the point of purchase.
Separately, Kneecap shared some good news with fans, saying they would be sharing something “very special” with US fans next week so that they can still link in with those who were due to attend the gigs in October.
“It's top secret for now but all will be revealed next week - stay tuned,” they posted.
The trio signed off their post on Instagram by saying: “And remember...'The revolution will be no re-run, brothers. The revolution will be live.' FREE PALESTINE!”
