Diddy settles lawsuit with limo drivers

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has finally reached a settlement with a limousine driver, who claimed the rap mogul's bodyguards had attacked him following a Mary J Blige concert 11 years ago.

North Carolina driver Cedrick Bobby Lemon filed suit in 2002, accusing Combs, who was managing Blige at the time of the alleged incident, of negligence, because he had failed to train his security workers properly.

Lemon claims that despite his authentic identification, which permitted him to work backstage, he was punched and kicked by two of Combs' employees, which left him with a broken ankle.

After years of legal wrangling, the case was finally settled in a North Carolina court on Monday.

Lemon's lawyer Herman Stephens says: "We amicably settled, and that's all we can say."
