Shannon Airport Group unveils two new directors
 Dr Mary Halton and Emily Ross, board roles with Shannon Airport Group.
Dr Mary Halton and Emily Ross have been appointed as directors to its board of Shannon Airport Group.
Dr Mary Halton is an experienced finance and governance professional, and owner and board advisor with Align Consulting. Emily Ross is an expert in digital strategy and innovation, and is EMEA director of brand strategy at X. Both have been appointed by the Minister for Transport and Minister for Climate, Energy and the Environment, Darragh O'Brien, TD.

This is a pivotal time for the future of aviation and sustainable connectivity in Ireland, with an urgent need to update aviation policy.

Dr Mary Halton is a very experienced chartered accountant. As well as owning Align Consulting, she also chairs Vhi Group’s risk committee. She is a lay member of the UK Copyright Tribunal and a past member of the governing council of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
Emily Ross leads brand strategy in the EMEA region for X (previously Twitter). She was previously CEO of a strategic consultancy firm for deep tech startups and scaleups. She has served as a director at UNICEF Ireland, managing major partnerships with companies like IKEA and Aer Lingus.
