Glenveagh Properties has completed a deal worth €150m to deliver 337 homes in Cork's Docklands for the Land Development Agency.

The transaction announced on Monday confirms an Irish Examiner report and follows the LDA’s appointment of Glenveagh to a Framework Panel last September under a tender process for the “Tosaigh 2” initiative. Under the terms of the transaction, the LDA has bought the homes through a “forward funding” mechanism and construction has already commenced.

Glenveagh has planning permission at the site for an additional 176 units, bringing the total available homes to 1,178.

“Our completion of the Cork Docklands transaction with the Land Development Agency marks a significant milestone for Glenveagh. The partnership underscores our commitment to delivering high-quality homes and highlights our strategic focus on public-private collaborations and our ability to execute large-scale projects efficiently," said Glenveagh chief executive Stephen Garvey.

"With construction already progressing on site, this project represents the sixth active initiative for our partnerships division, further solidifying our position as a leading homebuilder in Ireland."

This is Glenveagh’s sixth major active transaction with an Irish public body through its dedicated partnerships business, following the successful award of three additional partnerships in 2025, including the sale at Brownsbarn, Dublin announced in January for 139 homes worth €52m.
