Five bombs kill five people in Baghdad
Five people have been killed in a series of blasts in western Baghdad.
Police officials say five bombs were planted today near three houses and two car parks in the mostly Sunni neighbourhood of Ghazaliyah.
The pre-dawn blasts also wounded 12 people, including three children and two women.
Deadly bombings and shootings still occur almost daily as US troops prepare to leave Iraq by the end of the year.
