Japanese airline launches women-only seats

Women only seats are being introduced on Japanese planes as female passengers say it's too stressful sitting next to men.

Women who fly with Skymark Airlines will now be able to request the seats for flights between Tokyo and Fukuoka in the south of the country.

From the start of May, ten seats on each flight will be reserved for women aged 12 and over who find it more "relaxing" to sit next to someone of their own sex.

The move comes only weeks after a Japanese railway said it would start women-only night trains after complaints about groping male passengers soared.
