Peter Casey replaced the injured Aaron Gillane as the only change to the Limerick team from the Division 1 final win over Cork for the counties’ Munster SHC Round 2 meeting on Sunday.

Gillane is expected to be out for a couple of games with a calf difficulty. Casey was first substitute in against Cork earlier this month.

Tom Morrissey is fit enough to be named among the substitutes with his brother Dan. Darragh Langan is out with injury and Hugh Flanagan and Eddie Stokes comes into the squad.

Meanwhile, Tipperary have at least named the same starting 15 that began last Sunday’s defeat to Cork for the trip to Waterford on Sunday.

Neither are there any changes to the substitutes’ list, which includes Darragh McCarthy and Sam O’Farrell. Stefan Tobin is announced to start having played for the U20s in the defeat to Clare on Wednesday. U20 captain Oisín O’Donoghue did not feature in the game.

On Thursday night, Ben O’Connor named an unchanged Cork side for the Limerick clash.

The Rebels started their championship campaign with a four-point win over All-Ireland champions Tipperary in Semple Stadium last weekend.

And the same XV will look to make it two from two against John Kiely’s Treaty side in front of a sold-out crowd on Leeside this time out.

The in-form Ciaran Joyce is named at No 3; Mark Coleman will complement the Downey brothers, Eoin and Robert, in the half-back line while Tim O’Mahony and Tommy O’Connell make up the midfield partnership.

Captain Darragh Fitzgibbon — alongside Shane Barrett and Killeagh starlet Barry Walsh — will look to run at Limerick from wing forward.

Barrs men William Buckley and Brian Hayes, as well as Alan Connolly of Blackrock, make up a potent full forward line.

There are no changes to the bench.

As Kilkenny look to recover from their heavy defeat to Galway against Wexford in UPMC Nowlan Park on Saturday, Derek Lyng has made three alterations.

In attack, Tom Phelan comes in for suspended John Donnelly and Cian Kenny moves to attack with GearĂłid Dunne missing out. Paddy Deegan relocates to the half-back line while Ivan Bolger comes into the defence at the expense of Richie Reid.

Jim McGuinness has announced the same team that started the Division 1 final victory over Kerry for Sunday's Ulster quarter-final against Down in Letterkenny.
