Meath sealed their place in the Division 2B Allianz Hurling League Final, while there were wins also for London and Down in the Division this afternoon.

Meath impressed throughout to deliver a 14-point win over Roscommon by 1-20 to 0-9 at Athleague this afternoon.

The Royals led by 1-10 to 0-3 at half-time, having played with the aid of a strong wind in the opening 35 minutes.

London had eight points to spare as they accounted for Mayo by 3-13 to 1-11 at Elverys MacHale Park in Castlebar this afternoon.

The Exiles looked likely winners throughout and led by 2-7 to 0-8 at half-time, with Luke Hands and Martin Duggan claiming early goals.

Gerald Hennelly also helped keep the scoreboard ticking over nicely for London with some excellent points, while Kenny Feeney and Sean Regan kept Mayo in touch.

Tony Dunne bagged London's third goal early after the restart to ensure a seven-point lead, and although Mayo's goal cut the gap to six points, London held the hosts scoreless until the end, tagging on two points without reply.

Goals were key as Down claimed a 4-13 to 0-14 win over Armagh at the Athletic Grounds.

The visitors led by 2-6 to 0-11 at half-time, despite Down being reduced to 14 men after Conor Coulter was shown a red card.

Down's goals coming from James Coyle and Gareth Johnston, with Declan Coulter, John Corvan, Conor Corvan and Ryan Gaffney keeping Armagh in touch.

Armagh tied the game on the restart thanks to a Coulter pointed free, but Down took command following a Paul Braniff goal, with Johnston netting Down's fourth goal late on to ensure an 11-point win.
