Irishman killed in New Zealand earthquake named
The Irishman who died in the earthquake that hit Christchurch in New Zealand has been named today.
He is Eoin McKenna from Co Monaghan, who had been living in New Zealand for a number of years.
The other Irish passport holder who died, a British man who was married to an Irish woman, has not been named at this stage.
The Department of Foreign Affairs says it still has serious concerns for two other Irish people missing since the quake.
Search and rescue teams are sifting through the rubble in search of the hundreds who are still missing.
