Top comedy stars are coming together to raise money for the Asian tsunami appeal in a one-off event announced today.

Jonathan Ross, Jack Dee, Graham Norton and Paul O’Grady’s alter ego Lily Savage will host the event to be screened on BBC1.

Names on the bill include Johnny Vegas, Victoria Wood, Lee Evans and Jimmy Carr.

Today Ross and Dee announced the plans for the gig for 3,500 fans at London’s Carling Apollo Hammersmith.

The event also features Eddie Izzard, Meera Syal, Julie Walters, Jo Brand, Sanjeev Bhaskar and impressionist Alistair McGowan.

The event takes place on February 22 and will be broadcast on BBC1 later that month.
