Business movers: People starting new jobs in Ireland

Here is a selection of people starting new roles with Pinergy, Ireland’s Association for Adventure Tourism, Limerick Twenty Thirty, Safefood, Football Association of Ireland and Viatel Technology Group.

Jack McLoughlin has been appointed as senior energy analyst with energy transition company Pinergy. He will leverage his experience in data, insights and analytics to provide regular pricing analysis, deliver comprehensive market reports and manage risk across Pinergy's energy portfolio. A fully qualified ACA from Chartered Accountants Ireland, from Dublin, Jack brings a wealth of experience to Pinergy. Prior to joining Pinergy, he served as a CSRD sustainability analyst and finance business analyst at ESB. He also held positions as assistant manager, consulting, and audit senior, assurance, at EY Dublin. Jack holds a degree in Business Studies from Trinity College Dublin.

Eimear Flanagan has been appointed as chair of Ireland’s Association for Adventure Tourism (IAAT) for a two-year term. She is the owner of Away A Week Walk, a Belfast-based hiking tourism business, which primarily showcases Ireland`s Causeway coast to an international market. She joined the IAAT board in 2019 and was previously treasurer and secretary. She is the first Northern Ireland-based director to lead the association, and the first female chair. Joining Ms Flanagan in officer roles are Derek Binchy of Fota Adventure Centre, who takes up the role of secretary, and David O’Donnell of Cool Runnings Events & Zipit Forest Adventures, who assumes the role of treasurer.

Pat Nash has been appointed as CEO with property development company Limerick Twenty Thirty (LTT). He brings extensive experience across large-scale real estate development, asset management, strategic planning and complex stakeholder engagement. He was owner/CEO of real estate firm Falcon AM (formerly Multi Ireland & UK). He has worked on repositioning the Blanchardstown Centre, with a capital investment plan that included extensions, refurbishment and ESG upgrades, and he oversaw delivery of a new Urban Framework Masterplan for the surrounding 100-acre site. Prior to this, he was asset MD with Green Property. He has also held senior roles in institutional real estate investment, construction and development.

Joanne Uí Chrualaoich has been appointed as CEO of Safefood, the all-island body dedicated to promoting awareness and knowledge of food safety and nutrition on the island of Ireland. Joanne is a Cork-based scientist and public health leader with over 18 years of experience across government, academia, and industry. She joins Safefood from the Department of Health (IE), where she was head of population health screening and cardiovascular policy. Her career also includes 16 years at UCC’s School of Food and Nutritional Sciences, where she was director of the Food Industry Training Unit. She trained as both a chemist and a psychologist.

Nadine Conlon has joined the board of the Football Association of Ireland. Nadine has significant experience working with boards in the financial sector and currently serves as group company secretary with insurance firm FBD. She brings a track record of strategic governance leadership and expert counsel on all corporate governance and company secretarial matters to the FAI board. She is a fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland; she was president of the institute in Ireland until last 2025. Nadine holds a degree in Irish Law, a Master’s in Management and Corporate Governance, and qualifications in Management Practice and in Sustainability for Business.

Marty Patterson has been appointed as client CTO with Viatel Technology Group. He will work closely with CIOs, CTOs, and digital and operations leaders to shape clear strategies and roadmaps across communications, digital and cyber. He joins from his previous role as head of innovation at Auxillion. He has held lead roles in both professional and managed services, and he brings commercial acumen and technical foresight to the Viatel team. " I am eager to help our clients unlock the full transformative power of their technology investments," said Marty. Other recent appointments at Viatel include Damien McCann as managing director of Viatel Communication Services.
