Davy continues to add members to its regional teams

Financial advisor Davy has expanded its southern region team to more than 20 staff members with its latest regional appointments.
Financial advisor Davy has expanded its operations in the south of Ireland, servicing Cork, Kerry, Tipperary and Waterford from the Davy southern office in Cork city.
The move comes as Davy, a provider of wealth management and capital markets advice, continues its ongoing regional restructuring. Established in 1926, Davy manages over €24bn in client assets and employs more than 900 professionals.
Davy's southern office has now expanded to total more than 20 staff with these latest key appointments.
Conor Murphy, head of regional wealth management with Davy, said: “Our continued investment in the south of Ireland, by expanding our Cork office into a regional Southern Office, reflects Davy’s commitment to building a world-class advisory team across Ireland.
“Expanding our presence in Cork allows us to better serve clients in the South, including Kerry, Tipperary and Waterford and. This growth builds on our position as Ireland’s leading wealth manager and reinforces our commitment to delivering best-in-class financial planning and investment advice across the country.”
Mr Murphy is leading Davy’s new regionalised structure, expanding delivery of financial planning and investment services throughout Ireland. To support this initiative, Davy has appointed Sarah Carroll, Aine Crowley, Nicole Versluij, Kate Ennis as investment associates and Taylor Leslie as a client service executive in the southern team. They join the Southern team led by head of the Cork Office Olan Wixted.
Olan Wixted said: “This expansion is a significant step in our regional growth strategy. Strengthening our team and capabilities in Cork means we are better placed to meet the evolving needs of clients throughout the South of Ireland.
“It is an exciting time for the business and we are proud to contribute to Davy’s wider mission to deliver exceptional service and create meaningful career opportunities in financial services across the country.”
In recent months, Davy also appointed James Rael to lead its operations in Limerick, as part of the firm’s strategy to grow its presence in the southwest of Ireland. Before joining Davy, James was a professional rugby player with Munster and Connacht, retiring from professional rugby in 2014 due to injury.
Conor Murphy added: “Davy has the benefit of being a recognised national brand, with the ability to deliver a global service at a local level in every area we operate. We are focused on increasing our regional footprint and delivering best-in-class financial planning and investment advice wherever our clients are based.”
