Here is a selection of people starting new roles with TEKenable, Law Society of Ireland, Shannon Airport Group, John Sisk & Son, Hammerson and and ABM.

James McElhinney has been appointed as chief information security officer with, digital Services Company TEKenable, overseeing all aspects of information security strategy, governance, compliance, orchestrating end-to-end cybersecurity measures, risk management and implementing advanced security controls. He is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with over 15 years’ experience delivering comprehensive security strategies and risk management solutions. He was previously security risk and compliance officer at TEKenable. James holds a BSc in Computer Science from TCD, an MSc in Digital Investigations & Forensic Computing from UCD and several security certifications e.g. CISSP and he is a Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, and an Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP).

Rosemarie J Loftus has been appointed as president of the Law Society of Ireland for the year 2025-26, representing over 12,000 practising solicitors, along with regulatory and educational functions in respect of the solicitors’ profession. Rosemarie previously served as junior vice-president and senior vice-president. She qualified as a solicitor in 1991. She is a partner at family law firm, Bourke, Carrigg & Loftus in Ballina, Co Mayo, and practises with her brother Marc Loftus and her cousin Peter Loftus. Rosemarie was educated in Loreto Abbey, Rathfarnham, Dublin. She studied Law at UCD. She now mainly practises in commercial conveyancing, landlord and tenant law and litigation law.

Ken Johnson has joined the board of The Shannon Airport Group for a five-year term, appointed by Minister for Transport, Darragh O’Brien. A former senior partner with PwC in Limerick, Ken spent over 23 years advising senior leadership teams nationally and internationally across a range of sectors. He has extensive expertise in audit, accounting, risk management, and corporate governance. He also led PwC’s Mid-West practice. He is also an executive coach, supporting senior leaders and boards. He has served on the PwC oversight committee and is a past president and board member of the Limerick Chamber of Commerce. He is currently advising Milford Care Centre and iCare Housing.

Leo Martin has been appointed as chief operating officer for the infrastructure division of construction and engineering business John Sisk & Son, a newly created division of two business units, namely Sisk Infrastructure and newly acquired Farrans. Alan Rodger and Dominic Lavery will continue to report to Leo in their roles as managing directors of their respective business units. Leo joins Sisk with more than 35 years’ experience in civil engineering, playing a pivotal role in driving sustainable growth, innovation and building excellent teams on complex infrastructure projects across the UK and Ireland. He is known for his integrity, technical expertise, and collaborative leadership style.

Claire Macken has been appointed as country director for Ireland with Hammerson, the UK-based owner, operator and developer of prime urban real estate. Based in Dublin, Claire will head up Hammerson’s Irish business and the portfolio, including Dundrum Town Centre, the leading, iconic retail and leisure destination, as well as Swords Pavilions and the ILAC Centre. Claire has more than 25 years in real estate, notably in senior roles at global real estate company JLL, most recently as head of commercial value and risk advisory for UK and Ireland, and acted as a strategic partner to Hammerson. Claire is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.

Kelly Parish has been appointed as vice-president, transport and aviation with ABM, a provider of facility, engineering and infrastructure solutions. ABM is expand its aviation service offering, whilst targeting the broader transport sector. With 15 years of experience in transport, aviation, and integrated facilities management, Kelly was most recently director of transport and aviation at Mitie. She will play a key role in delivering ABM’s transport growth strategy. She succeeds Jim Niblock, MD for transport and aviation, retiring after a 30-year career; seven of which leading ABM’s aviation presence into 17 airports, and 40+ airlines. ABM also recently appointed Dinny Crowe as VP, operations, All-Ireland.
