Tijuana trouble

FIFTEEN Mexican police officers have been suspended after a video showed them forcing a young woman to perform a lap dance, apparently in exchange for not arresting or charging her.

Mayor Carlos Bustamante, in the border city of Tijuana, said the officers were being punished for immoral behaviour and loss of confidence.

The officers, who had allegedly detained the woman and her boyfriend for drug possession, could be seen laughing, joking and touching the woman in a video filmed at a police station.
