Well done to the ESB workers for fighting

Fair play to the workers of the ESB for their stand on the strike issue.

The Waterford Crystal workers (like the ESB workers) kept their side of the agreement and paid into it all their lives. The workers were left high and dry by the company when it closed down, and had to go to the courts in Europe. They won their case but they still, up to today, have got nothing. If the ESB workers wait for their time to retire, they will be cheated like the Waterford workers. All the spin and waffle from politicians is misleading — all they want to do is to divide and conquer. No one wants to strike but workers can only take so much — just look around and see the state this country is in.

Are the politicians and union leaders suffering like the people of Ireland? No bloody way.
