Unforgivable to bash gay people and those with DS

The Bishop of Elphin, Kevin Doran, recently compared homosexuals and people with Down Syndrome as being ‘not what God intended’.

As a gay man, my experience has been that both gay people and those with Down Syndrome (DS) are, for the most part, kind, caring, loving, open, honest and morally adept.

Whereas most war, serious crime and harm to the planet is caused by straight and able bodied people.

I would suggest to the Bishop that God was pretty on form that morning.
