Sinn Féin exclusion is more gutter politics

It would seem that the ballot box has become ‘too democratic’ for both the Unionists in the north and to our own government in the south.

Shame on them for putting the peace process at risk for political gain. The ambiguous statements of both the Chief Constable and his Deputy together with politicians north and south amount to gutter politics.

The PSNI should concentrate on bringing the criminals to justice no matter who they are.

An honest analysis and scrutiny of the PSNI statements leaves the government and the media little room, if any, for the continuing obsessive vitriolic attacks on a legitimate political party.

This attempt at scaremongering and political points-scoring at the expense of the democratic process will not fool an electorate growing ever wiser with each attempt to discredit political opponents whomever they may be.
