RTÉ must be stronger on SF abuse claims

There is a remarkable contrast between child abuse involving the Catholic Church and punishment beatings on children by Sinn Fein/IRA.

Because of the systematic methods applied to the latter it seems likely kneecappings and beatings were authorised from the top. This isn’t likely in the case of the Church. Again, many complained about the Church. No parent or victim of Sinn Fein/IRA punishment has spoken out. The reason is obvious. Also, the Church does not have RTÉ on its side. If the Maíria Cahill outrage involved the Church, water charges would not be the lead item in news bulletins from Montrose.
