Pipe band seeks a temporary home

THOMAS Davis Pipe Band has been serving the community of Mallow and the surrounding area of Co Cork since 1924. For the past 80 years the band has resided in the town hall – a listed building which we are proud to call home.

Now, unfortunately, we must vacate its upper rooms temporarily until necessary repairs are completed.

Meanwhile we are homeless. We have a large consignment of valuable specialised equipment and require temporary secure accommodation to tide us over until the town hall is accessible again.

We are not a business but a voluntary group who enjoy playing music for the entertainment of others. Without a steady income to fund a temporary home we are appealing to the public and businesses of the Mallow region for any helpful ideas. If anyone would like to offer us a temporary home we would be delighted to hear from them.
