One perspective on what Fine Gael has achieved during office

This is what the next few months has in store.

“Citizens of the Irish Republic we will shortly go before thee seeking re-election to carry on the work that our term in office allowed us to do.

“At the beginning of 2016 we have more money in our pockets than you would ever dream of.

“Let us put before you our vision for the next five years. We will create thousands of jobs for ye mostly in city and county councils but of course successful candidates must have a proven track record of voting Fine Gael.

“Let’s face it what alternatives can replace us? “Deputy Martin does not remember ever being in office during the collapse of our country. No party wants to bed Sinn Féin, so it’s our package or an empty package.

“Now Fine Gael, my friends, has a proven track record of cosying up to ranchers, bankers and the elite. We honoured our promises to them.

“This Government has put more people back to work, more people on to hospital trolleys and thousands more back into poverty. We have put more people sleeping on the streets while our landlord colleagues collected bountiful rents, our farm leaders can now earn up to a half a million euro plus per year.

“We cannot blame Fianna Fáil for everything so we now blame the EU. If we hadn’t EU laws the people would simply go mad and start dredging rivers, then we wouldn’t be able to promise drainage schemes and get photo shoots. Vote Enda to get things done.”
