No politician will force Irish Water job losses

I’ve marched many times with the water protesters and am proud to have done so.

We all want the Irish water supply to be free but know that it won’t. Hundreds of jobs have been created in this juggernaut.

So, whatever political parties form the next government, they won’t want to be seen to deprive Irish Water staff of their jobs.

As a nation, are we so gullible as to think political promises won’t be broken next time around?

Will Fianna Fáil, Sinn Féin, Renua and others abolish Irish Water? Like hell they will. The status quo will prevail.
