Money for dogs but not for people

THE Government has cut resources for health, education, pensions, home care for the elderly, the sick, etc — all arguably necessary in the current economic crisis.

Now, driven by extreme elements in the Greens, they propose to increase resources for the registration and inspection of dog kennels.

This waste of Oireachtas time and our money goes a long way to explaining contempt for politicians and 17% ratings in the polls.
