London City flights are deserving of better support

I arrived at Cork Airport yesterday on a wonderful, most civilised flight from London City Airport.

It was the first of a new schedule, which was greeted by way of taxiing under a splendid water arch provided by airport fire engines. How sad that no press greeted us as we arrived.

Surely this venture by CityJet should be better supported and be given the exposure it rightly deserves? With three flights a day, it has the potential to carry up to 2,000 people a week into the South West.

I know I will use it from now on.
