Let democracy flourish following referendum

Congratulations to all those young people who not alone voted but canvassed, on whatever side, for the referendums last Saturday.

Well done — now, don’t stop.

Do the same next time and don’t listen to those who say “don’t bother voting, it will make no difference, everything will remain the same”.

Listening to that kind of tosh can lead to marginalisation and even radicalisation.

The more people that take part, the better democracy works.
