Lest we forget

What a good editorial on the complacency with which we all seem to accept that we should fund the gambling bond holders who gambled with Anglo and the other irresponsible mandarins of banking (Irish Examiner, Nov 30).

Everyone who suffers the pain of the budget needs to be reminded that we are suffering to fund the gambling bond holders.

It is the duty of a serious press not to let the majority forget what got us where we are today. Keep up the quality editorials as we need you to speak on our behalf. Let us never forget what the banks and bond holders have done to blameless citizens who have to pay for their greed.
