With regard to the ‘Find the #littlethings that protect your mental health’ campaign, let me personally confirm that doing so makes a huge difference to how we feel and cope with life.
One summer’s evening, about 30 years ago, I left my place of work for a swim on one of Donegal’s beautiful beaches. I have been swimming ever since, and can confirm, without reservation, that this one very simple activity has helped me deal with many of life’s dreadful demons.
This is an excellent campaign and should be supported in every way possible.
