Information required on Titanic’s Cobh passengers

Great interest is being shown in the sinking of the Titanic.

Cobh’s newly-established ‘Titanic experience’ is appealing to relatives, friends, neighbours and local historians for information on the ship’s passengers and, indeed, its crew members, who were from the town or locality.

Copies or originals of family histories, memories, stories, photographs or artefacts of those passengers who boarded in Queenstown would go on display to the public, who are visiting us in ever-increasing numbers and who are anxious to hear what is known of the lost passengers, the survivors and the crew members who were from Cobh.

All responses will be gratefully acknowledged, sensitively treated and made available, with your consent, for historic research and analysis now and in the future.

Replies appreciated in writing or email to Info@Titanicexperiencecobh.ie.
