Halawas should respond to Ambassador

The Halawa family have consistently maintained Ibrahim Halawa, currently held in an Egyptian prison, is an “innocent Irishman”.

The family have regularly presented this view through Irish media.

The Egyptian Ambassador now claims there is video evidence of Ibrahim addressing protesters saying: “I am here to help the Egyptians to create an Islamic State”.

The Halawa Family should now clarify this allegation.
