Goodbye councillors, we can’t afford you

In response to Councillor John Loughan’s letter, (Nov 22) regarding local councils and reforms — if he wants a town council in every village and town then he should consider doing it voluntarily and save the taxpayer money.

It’s amazing, the egos of these present councillors and the belief we live in the US or Russia.

This is a small country, bankrupted beyond belief by FF/PDs and their party of untouchables. We can’t afford the councillors we have.
