Exams timetable

The university presidents have suggested that, at the end of fifth year, students could sit exams in maths and Irish to try to reach the matriculation requirements for college entry.

If these were arranged for the middle of the Leaving Cert timetable, this would reduce the intensity of the latter exams as students could have a day or two off. Such a change would be particularly welcomed by students with ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
