Energy policy proves Labour not a party for rural Ireland

Wind Aware Ireland will no longer engage in meaningless discussions with the Labour Party, who appear to be working in the interests of wind-farm developers instead of the Irish people.

Energy Minister Alex White has compromised both his and the Labour Party’s credibility by failing to develop a sustainable energy policy.

The Labour Party has backed a flawed policy, which damages rural Ireland. Wind Aware Ireland genuinely engaged in a process of consultation, which led nowhere.

Minister White and the Labour Party are guilty of environmental vandalism.
