Be fair to everyone

THERE is a high level of commercialisation attached to the royal and presidential visits with many brand names seizing the opportunity to use high profile people to sell and give credence their brands.

This, of course, is very unfair to other businesses that will not be on the dignitaries list of shops and trade centres to visit.

Every time we have a major head of state visit this country, the same old brands are given pride of place in what is a shameful display of greed by big companies that have enough political muscle to be in the right place at the right time to be plugged by the high and mighty. It is surely time to be fair to everyone or none at all.
