Adoptees have rights

Adoption in Ireland is the biggest secret and cover-up.

Up until 20 years ago, the State, Church and society were either taking babies, or forcing women and girls (my husband’s birth mother was 14) to give their babies up for adoption.

If that were not bad enough, in 2014 the Government is still covering up and denying people access to their information.

All adoptees want is access to their own information, a basic human right.
