WHAT has become one of the great events on the Irish calendar ended last evening and it was again the great success we all have come to expect it to be.
Something not too far shy of 200,000 people visited the National Ploughing Championships in Athy and underlined what we all know in our hearts of hearts: Ireland remains a country where a strong and profitable agriculture sector is central to our economic wellbeing.
