RTÉ accused - Still more criticism

It is not surprising that presidential candidate Seán Gallagher waited until the report on the Prime Time Mission To Prey programme was published before he went into detail about how he was treated by the station.

He was, after all, leading the polls before an RTÉ programme linked him with Fianna Fáil fundraising and allowed a fake tweet to undermine his campaign. This is another blow to the broadcaster and we cannot afford to have it weakened further. It is surprising that there has only been one resignation from the organisation, and none from the highest echelons where the culture of an organisation is set.
