Holiday traffic - Take it easy on the roads

THE October bank holiday weekend has been marred by tragedy on our roads far too many times.

A great number of people are travelling this weekend to enjoy one last break away before winter fully closes in. Add to that the fact that our evenings will get dark an hour earlier as the clocks went backward early this morning and it is not difficult to understand why so many accident occur at this time.

Each of us has a role to play in minimising the danger on our roads. All we have to do is drive carefully.
