Watch these workers celebrate winning the Powerball after checking the wrong numbers

For a number of restaurant workers at Grissini’s, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey all their hopes and dreams momentarily came true when they thought they had won the American Powerball.

The workers had pooled together and bought a ticket to the lottery but unfortunately for them they were sent the wrong numbers when they checked their ticket.

The group proceeded to celebrate their win raucously, hugging each other and roaring with delight only to find out later they had been sent the numbers from the night before.

Their winning ticket was a day late.

We wish we had footage of that realisation.

Needless to say it was a sombre day at work after that news, a few of the crew probably had a few apologies to make after their impulsive celebrations.

Lets hope they have better luck next time!
