This Waterford lad's Snapchat tutorial on how to spread slurry is genius

We don’t know why this isn’t more of a thing - using Snapchat to provide an insight into everyday farming practices that are probably a bit of a mystery to the rest of us.

Ross Lonergan, a Waterford student who farms in his spare time, may just have started something with his hilarious Snapchat story explaining how to spread slurry.

Ross says he gets a lot of people asking them how to do it so he decided to take us through it step by step.

And it manages to be educational - and highly amusing thanks to Ross’ inspired phrasing on how to approach the task.

"Don’t be daft, cover the shaft."

"Give her a rev to kind of assert your dominance, there."

And do not forget the tunes.

And now we know how to spread slurry! Life skill unlocked.
