Watch as diseased oak tree in Kerry is transformed into public sculpture

Sculpture Will Fogarty and artist Mick Clifford have been tasked with designing a public statue that is being carved from a 200-year-old diseased oak tree in Kerry.

The sculpture will depict the figure of a woman preparing to emigrate from Ireland, representing 'The Diaspora', and will be on show in Killorglin.
