See the Eiffel Tower lit up in tribute to Orlando victims

Parisians showed solidarity with the victims of the shooting at a gay nightclub in Orlando lighting up the Eiffel Tower in rainbow colours on Monday night.

The tribute in Paris was one of a number of global commemorations to those that lost their lives in the attack.

The city's mayor Anne Hidalgo also offered her support, tweeting:
