Trap: timing would be right for Mancini

GIOVANNI Trapattoni thinks it’s the right time for Inter boss Roberto Mancini, who has been strongly linked with the vacant post at Chelsea, to take up a new challenge.

Said Trapattoni of his fellow Italian: “I don’t know if it’s true or not (that Mancini could be on his way to Stamford Bridge). But I think after three or four years, we all need change. And I think a change would be good for Mancini. A new experience would be good for him, although I don’t know if he will go to Chelsea or England.

“Milan is a very difficult city, with many newspapers, many commentators, many television stations — it’s not easy. Mancini has done very well there. The newspapers say that maybe Mourinho will go to Inter. I think he hasn’t decided yet.”
