Behan and Rundle leave Cork City

Cork City last night announced striker Denis Behan and midfielder Adam Rundle have left the club by mutual consent.

City manager Tommy Dunne paid tribute to the departing duo and wished them the best.

“First and foremost, I’d like to thank Denis and Adam for their professionalism and their effort in the work that they’ve done here over the course of the season so far,” Dunne said.

“Things haven’t worked out quite as we would have liked for the two lads, but they have both been absolute gentlemen to deal with and a credit to themselves, and I would like to wish them all the very best for the future.”
