Seenya can over come lengthy absence

THE David Kiely-trained Seenya can overcome an absence of 141 days and land the Saltan Properties four-year-old Maiden Hurdle at Tramore this evening.

The fact Ruby Walsh has been booked to ride would suggest Seenya is well fancied and she does have plenty going for her.

The daughter of Kris Kin has, arguably, the best form in a modest contest and gets a more than useful 10lbs from the principal dangers.

The selection was last seen when out of her depth behind Tharawaat in a Grade 3 at Fairyhouse in November.

Prior to that, however, she was beaten four and a half lengths into second behind Lethal Weapon at Cork and a repeat of that effort would be good enough.

The Saltan Properties five-year-old Maiden Hurdle is a woeful heat, best left to Henry de Bromhead’s Echo Bob.

Walsh rides this as well and he was also in the plate when Echo Bob chased home The Tartan Army at Limerick.

Crusing Katie is fancied to go close in the Saltan Properties Handicap Hurdle, under a 6lbs rise in the weights for scoring at Gowran Park.

She battled on well then to beat Unforgettable by a length and it is worth recording that the mare took her maiden on this track.

The Bumper may be best left to Oilily, runner-up to Fruitful Venture on her debut at Thurles.

Testing beauty products in shops is verboten for the moment, a restriction that depletes the whole retail experience, in my view. The chief reason to go bricks-and-mortar shopping for beauty it to try before you buy.Make a splash with your skincare this summer with the best water-based makeup
